NAOS Magazine Editorial – December 2016 Issue

Our CEO & Design Director, Roderick Anderson has written this month’s editorial feature article for Latin-American architecture & design magazine, NAOS Magazine.  The article focuses on the importance of BIM technology for property owners, developers and clients.  Understanding the benefits that BIM technologies bring to their projects is essential for owners and developers.

Owners can learn to differentiate between “Real BIM” and those that use some lesser kind of technology saying they use BIM, while not really doing so.  There are many out there simply using some simpler form of 3D program (BIM is not just 3D, it’s so much more).  There are also many others that use a BIM program to do a simple 3D model, and then turn back to their CAD comfort zone for the documentation, losing any and all advantages of BIM.
